Barristers Block is a family-owned and operated Cellar Door in the Adelaide Hills. We offer tastings and lunch 7 days a week. Our sandpit, farm animals and lawns to play games keep the kids entertained while the adults enjoy our premium wines.
We had my sister's Hens day lunch at Barristers Block. The food was amazing (tapas, fries, pizza, and cream puffs for desserts) and were generous serves for our 24 people table. We had really friendly and lovely servers and the host was very organised to support those with dietary needs. There was live music too which was very entertaining and showed talent. It was cold so it would have been nice to have a little more heating but not a let down. I will definitely be back again as the atmosphere was very inviting and positive. Thanks for having us again!
We have just returned from spending a weekend at the Villa at Barristers Block Winery. Jan and the staff were so welcoming, the whole weekend was perfect. The pizza's and cheese boards were delicious and the wine is amazing, we picked up a few bottles to take home. Would highly recommend a weekend or even just a visit to Barristers Block Winery! We'll definitely be returning!
I attended a 60th birthday lunch last Sunday at your winery with a group of people. I have gluten free and dairy free dietary requirements. I found the staff very obliging with regard to my dietary needs and the meals provided to me were very tasty. Thank you for the attention to detail. P.S. I came away with a purchase of six bottles of your wine.
Fantastic place, fantastic food. Staff amazing. Beautiful scenery. Couldn't recommend enough. Can't wait to come back.
We had a great experience of wine tasting and lunch using the SA tourism voucher. We were not disappointed. All the staff were wonderful and the wine and food were very generous. The tasting room is not huge but we were there early so not crowded. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of room and even some cute farm animals - deer, geese,chickens.
