Nice cellar door and wines. Lovely host very friendly however beware of misleading information. Happy to pay the $10 tasting fee and usually the fee is waived if purchasing wines. They have their wines listed with the prices which seem quite reasonable, but you have to buy 3 bottles to get the tasting waived. If you only want to buy 1 bottle, instead of the advertised price of $22 they are actually charging you for the tasting, making that bottle $32!! This is not advertised anywhere in their winery which is not good business and for this reason we did not purchase any wines.
We were warmly welcomed on a very chilly Clare morning. Our host chatted about the heritage, and wines - which were delicious. Very highly recommended.
Very nice experience. Weather was miserable but it was very welcoming & warm inside. Say hi to Linda, she was very knowledgeable about the history of the place.
