We rocked up to Rockford at 11am to beat the crowd and were left amazed as we spent 1 hour tasting all of the wines available to taste. Nahum was our host - he was very passionate and we learnt a lot about the amazing wines on the list and the history of Rockford. Ended up buying a lot of wines here but very well worth it. Hopefully we can get into their wine club sooner!
Rockford wines is built on love. The staff love their job but above all love their customers more. What a warm & welcoming vineyard! We felt so welcomed & did not want to leave! The wines are so delicious that you will not leave empty handed!
An incredible wine tasting experience! Me and my partner were looked after by Paula and Andrew. Paula led us through some very engaging conversation and was eager to answer all my questions about the wines and the manufacturing process. I was honestly astounded by how knowledgeable she was about winemaking! We were sad to see her go when she had to switch with Andrew halfway through, but he quickly had us rolling with laughter. Knowledgeable and a brilliant conversationalist, by the end of the tasting the atmosphere was like old friends catching up over a glass of wine. We arrived about an hour before closing time - I recommend a similar approach if you're looking for a more intimate atmosphere with Rockford's brilliant staff, but the wines would taste equally great at any time of the day.
